Ulriken is one of the seven mountains surrounding the city of Bergen. It is 643 meters above sea level, and the highest of the "city mountains", as well among the most popular hiking destinations in Norway. There is also a popular restaurant at the top of the mountain which can be reached by gondola.
The vessel was named after the mountain Ulriken and was acquired in January 2019 and is flying the Norwegian flag. The vessel is financed with a sustainability linked loan.
